What have YOU done for yourself TODAY that would qualify as Mind Expansion?
We only start to cease in our own existence and growth when we stop learning. Even the greatest of scholars were always seeking things they wanted to learn about, even up until the day they passed on to the spiritual plane of life.
While I am not quite sure who said it first as both of the gentlemen below came from the same time era of the 1800’s. Never the less, they were both great men in their fields of endeavor. Mr. Holmes was a Supreme Court Justice, While Mr. Emerson was an American Essayist and Poet.
Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. Coined it … “A man’s mind is stretched by a new idea or sensation, and never shrinks back to its former dimensions.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson said the same thing almost verbatim. ““The mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions.”
So again I ask you…
